FLUR NX and Art-Sharing Foundation iF Children Sign MOU to Expand Domestic Cultural and Arts Programs

  • Joint planning and development of the new "Le Freeport Remicon" cultural space at Seongsu Cultural and Arts Square
  • Programs to support cultural experiences for underprivileged groups using "Le Freeport Remicon" facilities

Cultural space developer FLUR NX and the art-sharing foundation iF Children (chaired by Kim Yoon-seop) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on the "Le Freeport Remicon" project, a new multipurpose cultural space at Seongsu Cultural and Arts Square.

Through this partnership, the two organizations have agreed to jointly plan and develop various programs aimed at expanding cultural and arts projects in Korea and globally, while also promoting wider cultural engagement. Specifically, they plan to utilize the "Le Freeport Remicon" facilities to offer experiential programs for underprivileged groups, thereby increasing their access to cultural activities.

Kim Yoon-seop, Chairman of iF Children, emphasized the importance of hands-on programs in enjoying art in everyday life. He stated, "We will prepare opportunities for various cultural fusion programs that integrate not only visual arts but also music and performances, tailored to the unique needs of different audiences, using the diverse spaces of 'Le Freeport Remicon.'"

Yoo Min-seok, the project director for "Le Freeport Remicon" at FLUR NX, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, "We are delighted to partner with iF Children in contributing to the organic spread of art-sharing initiatives that create sustainable value for future generations. We expect this collaboration to lead to meaningful social utilization of the multipurpose cultural space in Seongsu-dong."

Meanwhile, FLUR NX was selected as the operator of the Seongsu Cultural and Arts Square in Seoul's Seongdong District earlier this year and is currently preparing to launch the artainment platform "Le Freeport Remicon." With exclusive rights to the "Le Freeport" brand in Korea, FLUR NX is developing a new form of cultural and arts platform in urban spaces. The "Le Freeport Remicon" is set to open in Seongsu-dong this October, with plans to expand the brand to other areas in Seoul and Busan.
